GOLDSBY, OK – Two Goldsby firefighters lost their lives in a fire tanker truck rollover collision on the outskirts of Goldsby, News9 reports.
The crash happened around 3 a.m. off East Redbud Road and Southeast 12th Avenue. Preliminary details show that the tanker operator was traveling east on Redbud when he overcorrected, causing the tanker to leave the road and overturn.
The two men inside, ages 62 and 64, died from their injuries. One was identified as a 35-year veteran and a 12-year veteran of the fire department.
A full investigation has been started.

TTN reported the crash at 8:20 a.m., saying it happened at the intersection of North 63rd Street and North Harvey Avenue.

Man, 19, charged in connection with pursuit-turned-crash in Davis
DAVIS, OK – A 19-year-old man is facing several charges in connection with a pursuit-turned-crash that occurred in September of 2025, KTEN said.
Preliminary details from Oklahoma Highway Patrol show that the 19-year-old man, who had three passengers in the car, was driving 102mph in a 50 mph zone on State Highway 7. The male driver lost control of his car in the area of East Main Street and Crazy Horse Airport Road and crashed into a curb.
The car went airborne and crashed into a ditch before catching on fire.
The impact of the crash left the suspect and the three passengers in serious-to-critical condition. One person was left with a traumatic brain injury, broken bones, and a fractured spine, while others are learning to walk again.
Officials believe the male suspect was under the influence of cocaine, marijuana, and alcohol at the time of the collision.
The suspect is set to face six felony charges and is awaiting an arrest warrant, officials confirmed.
OKDOT dispatched to crash with injuries near OKC’s Lake Hefner
OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – The Oklahoma Department of Transportation was dispatched to the scene of a vehicle crash with injuries that happened east of Lake Hefner on Friday.
The vehicle crash occurred before noon at the intersection of North May Avenue and southbound Quail Creek Road, the OKC Response & Accident Tracker reports.
