OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – One person died and two others were injured in a pursuit-turned-shooting and collision that happened on Friday, KOCO said.

The incident happened at Interstate 44 and Southwest 59th Street, near the Will Rogers International Airport. Oklahoma City Police said it started when officers received a call concerning a domestic violence issue. The woman involved in that situation drove away from the police, which prompted a pursuit.

Police were left with no choice but to intentionally crash into the female suspect’s car. The suspect’s car crashed into two other vehicles, and she and officers got into a shooting match. The female suspect died after she was struck by one of the bullets.

Two other people, who were struck by the suspect’s car, went to the hospital for non-life-threatening injuries.

No formal charges have been reported at this time.

Police are actively investigating the details leading up to this incident.
