Troopers investigate deadly crash on Midway Rd near Poteau in LeFlore County
LEFLORE COUNTY, OK – The Oklahoma Highway Patrol is investigating a fatal two-vehicle crash that happened on Midway Rd near Poteau on Saturday, according to KOKH.
A 56-year-old man was driving a 1995 Jeep Wrangler north on Midway Rd when he collided with a 66-year-old male driving a 2014 FOrd F-150 heading south on Midway Rd around 8:30 p.m.
The collision sent the 56-year-old man off the road and caused him to roll over.
Rescue crews extricated the 56-year-old man from the Jeep Wrangler and pronounced him dead at the scene.
The 66-year-old driver was not hurt in the incident.
