Crash on I-40 near Cimmaron Rd hospitalizes 3 people

CANADIAN COUNTY, OK – According to KOKH, three people were hurt in a wreck near I-40 and Cimmaron Rd on January 18.

A trooper was talking to someone from the passenger side of a vehicle he pulled over when the driver of a black SUV slammed into the car that was pulled over.

The collision sent the trooper flying into the grass beside the vehicle.

Rescue crews transported the trooper and the two drivers to an area hospital. They have all been treated and released.

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol is investigating the incident.
