3 hurt following crash on I-40 in Yukon

YUKON, OK – According to KOCO, an Oklahoma Highway Patrol trooper and two others were hurt when a driver collided with another vehicle on I-40 EB and N Cimarron Rd on Thursday.

The trooper was conducting a traffic stop with another vehicle when a black Lexus SUV collided with the car that was pulled over around 1:55 p.m. The trooper was also hit in the collision.

Rescue crews transported the trooper to an area hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. The condition of the two drivers is unknown.

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol is investigating the incident.
